The most influential and inspiring leaders in my life have shown up with a kind of authentic grace. They are experts by way of their curiosity and passion and they have a wealth of knowledge to pull from. They trust themselves deeply to reach with confidence into the heart of what they are focusing on and are a vehicle for that subject to come alive within them and as a result they light up with infectious inspiration. They are able to adjust to circumstances and find their way through challenges or changes with humor and grace. They take responsibility for mistakes or missteps and model using them as building blocks to continue to evolve and as a result, they help the rest of us evolve too. They help us to feel safe in the world, at home in ourselves, empowered and inspired.
Whether you lead a multi national company or your household, we are all leading in one way or another in our lives. Each time a decision appears in front of us, how we respond sets a direction, a trajectory and an invitation for how we engage with the energy of the world and how it responds and aligns with us.
I don’t know what will happen each time I step into the flow of intuitive connection whether I am facilitating for an organization, on stage or in my office one on one. I completely trust that I have prepared my whole life for this moment and I have all the tools I need; this is why I have been invited to be here. I know that I will be inspired to think of, say and do what is in alignment for the highest good for everyone.
I’ve been doing this for many years, but wasn’t fully conscious of it when I was in my fashion career. I felt that “truth beyond logic” and I believed entirely in it, almost like the wave of energy I was riding was so powerful it gave me no choice - and I didn’t want a different one. It was clearly the direction that was right and the world kept reflecting that truth back to me.
People used to ask me when I would come home for a visit from New York or Italy if it was intimidating competing in the fashion industry. I could understand why they asked but I never saw it that way. I was following that authentic spark of intuition, that wave of inspiration and energy and I knew what I was doing was right. I was fulfilling my reason for being here. No hesitation. This lead to many layers of success and prepped me to lead in all the forms that have unfolded in my life.
These days I get to coach leaders from someone ready to step into their personal power to those who run large scale multinational organizations. No matter the level of leadership, when we allow TRUST instead of FEAR motivate and drive us forward, this is what is felt by ourselves and those we lead. This is the energy the world responds to in affirmation.

What immediately stands out to you about why they inspired you so much? Take a moment here to pause and notice which memories stand out to you and the feeling in your body and images in your mind when you access those memories.
Send a wave of respect and gratitude to them for showing you a new way to understand the world and yourself in it. Now look the other direction and take a moment to breath in the gratitude from those who you have positively influenced in your life.
Let that recognition and gratitude be fuel to inspire trust in yourself to lead your life and your work from a place authenticity.
